Central Crime Branch files chargesheet in Bengaluru rave party case

The Central Crime Branch (CCB) filed a 1086-page chargesheet in the infamous Hebbagodi farmhouse rave party case. Over 200 people participated in the rave party held on May 19. Participants included Telugu actress Hema, with 79 attendees confirmed to have consumed drugs such as Hydro Weed, MDMA, and cocaine.
The chargesheet was submitted to the 8th Additional Sessions Court of Bengaluru Rural District.
The Central Crime Branch team raided a rave party being held at the farmhouse and seized 17 MDMA pills and cocaine. The event, disguised as a birthday party, continued until after 2 am.
Key suspects Vasu, Randheer Babu, and Mohammed Abubakar Siddiqui, accused of supplying drugs at the party, have been arrested.
Out of the attendees, 82 individuals who did not consume drugs have been listed as witnesses in the case.
The farmhouse was allegedly owned by Gopala Reddy, the owner of Con Card. The party was organised by a Hyderabad-based man Vasu, also a key suspect.
A Mercedes-Benz car with a legislator’s pass, belonging to Andhra MLA Kakani Govardhana Reddy, was found at the scene.
Over fifteen luxury vehicles, including Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, and Audi, were also found on the premises.
A case was filed, and the police inspected the venue with narcotics sniffer dogs while working to identify all those involved in the party.
The case, originally registered at Bengaluru’s Hebbagodi police station, was transferred to the CCB, leading to the submission of the charge sheet today.
